HVAC Controls Specialist
A growing Building Automation Systems (BAS) integrator is seeking an experienced Controls Specialist to support new construction projects throughout Greater Boston.
This is an opportunity to join a company with a strong project pipeline across healthcare, higher education, commercial office, and K-12 facilities. You'll work alongside experienced project teams delivering building automation solutions for some of the region's most technically demanding facilities.
Responsibilities
- Install, startup, commission, and troubleshoot BAS/DDC systems.
- Program and configure Schneider Electric building automation systems.
- Support system integration, graphics development, point-to-point verification, and functional testing.
- Assist project teams throughout project delivery and commissioning.
- Interpret mechanical, controls, and electrical drawings.
- Work directly with project managers, subcontractors, and end users.
- Support project turnover and customer training.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Building Automation / HVAC Controls experience.
- Experience with BAS/DDC systems in commercial buildings.
- Ability to troubleshoot controls, communication networks, and field devices.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and sequences of operation.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Greater Boston.
Preferred Experience
- Strong Schneider Electric controls experience desired.
- Tridium Niagara (N4 certification desirable).
- Commissioning and startup experience.
- Healthcare, K-12, higher education, or commercial office projects.
- Experience with multiple DDC platforms.
