Role Summary
About the Organisation
Key Responsibilities
- Service, troubleshoot, and maintain Tridium Niagara building automation systems
- Diagnose controls, HVAC, networking, and integration issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and system performance reviews
- Support customers with technical service requests and operational challenges
- Commission controllers, field devices, and BAS upgrades
- Modify Niagara programming, graphics, alarms, and trends
- Participate in retrofit, upgrade, and new project activities
- Support system start-ups and commissioning efforts
- Identify opportunities to improve building performance and energy efficiency
- Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation
- Collaborate with mechanical and controls teams to deliver successful customer outcomes
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Tridium Niagara (N4 and/or AX)
- Solid understanding of HVAC controls and DDC systems
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting building automation systems in occupied facilities
- Ability to read and interpret control drawings and technical documentation
- Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's licence
Additional or Desirable Experience
- HVAC D-2 or S-2 Refrigeration Licence
- Johnson Controls experience
- BACnet and Modbus experience
- Controls retrofit and upgrade project experience
- Experience working within a mechanical contractor environment
