A growing multidisciplinary engineering and surveying consulting firm is seeking a Professional Surveyor to join its team in Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers the chance to work on a variety of transportation, infrastructure, land development, and public sector projects while supporting survey operations and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform surveying assignments requiring a strong understanding of surveying principles and professional judgment.
- Work closely with survey leadership to deliver projects accurately and efficiently.
- Establish property boundaries and right-of-way lines using field data and public records.
- Develop mapping and survey deliverables to support engineering and construction projects.
- Prepare and certify plats, maps, legal descriptions, reports, and exhibits.
- Mentor and assist office and field survey personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety procedures and project requirements.
- Support additional survey-related responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mapping, Geomatics, or a related field preferred.
- Pennsylvania Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Professional Surveyor.
- Experience with boundary surveys, right-of-way mapping, and survey project coordination.
- Proficiency with survey and mapping software such as Civil 3D and modern survey equipment preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project and construction sites as needed.
