About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multifamily and housing projects through all phases of design and construction. This role requires a strong leader who can successfully manage project teams, coordinate consultants, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate brings a solid background in multifamily architecture, excels at managing complex project requirements, and is passionate about mentoring team members and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multifamily and residential housing projects from concept through construction completion.
  • Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and consultant coordination.
  • Prepare and manage project proposals, contracts, and related documentation.
  • Act as the primary client contact, providing regular updates and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to support successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project financial performance, scheduling, and quality objectives.
  • Ensure accurate project billing, documentation, and reporting.
  • Lead project teams, delegating responsibilities and maintaining accountability for deliverables.
  • Mentor and support the professional development of architects and design staff.
  • Provide technical oversight during design development, documentation, and construction administration phases.
  • Facilitate coordination among structural, civil, and MEP engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, zoning requirements, and housing regulations.
  • Lead quality control reviews and encourage continuous improvement in project execution.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to pursue new business opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of architectural experience, including direct project management responsibilities on multifamily or residential housing projects.
  • Architectural licensure preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Excellent client-facing abilities, including presentations, problem-solving, and scope management.
  • Understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and construction coordination.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, and other industry-standard project delivery tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to attend client meetings and project site visits as needed.
