About Our Client
Our client is a global water technology and EPC company delivering advanced water treatment, wastewater treatment, desalination, reuse and high-purity water systems for industrial customers.
The business is expanding its regional project-delivery capability and is looking for a Project Manager to lead complex water and wastewater projects across Asia.
The Role
The Project Manager will take overall responsibility for delivering water and wastewater projects safely, on schedule, within budget and in accordance with technical, contractual and quality requirements.
The position will coordinate engineering, procurement, suppliers, subcontractors, commissioning teams and client stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage water and wastewater projects from contract award through commissioning and handover
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, forecasts and resource plans
- Coordinate technical, commercial and contractual activities across all project phases
- Lead engineering work planning and review technical deliverables
- Monitor budgets, costs, cash flow, risks and project performance
- Prepare project reports, recovery plans and management updates
- Manage variations, change orders and contractual matters
- Oversee suppliers, vendors and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and engineering practices
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams
- Manage client expectations, project escalations and final acceptance
- Support project accounting and financial closeout
What We Are Looking For
- Degree in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering discipline
- Strong project-management experience within water, wastewater or environmental engineering
- Experience delivering industrial water, wastewater, desalination or high-specification utility projects
- Understanding of semiconductor, pharmaceutical or advanced-manufacturing requirements
- Strong schedule, budget, contract and risk-management capability
- Experience coordinating engineering disciplines, suppliers and subcontractors
- Familiarity with contract law, variation management and project closeout
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Willingness to travel for regional projects
