Compensation: $90,000-$120,000+
A well-established environmental consulting firm is seeking a Project Manager - Remediation to support a growing portfolio of site investigation and remediation projects throughout Illinois.

The successful candidate will manage environmental projects from investigation through regulatory closure while working directly with clients, regulators, and technical staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects from planning through completion
- Oversee soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion investigations
- Develop remediation strategies and corrective action plans
- Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, and regulatory submittals
- Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and client communications
- Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, and technical teams
- Interface with state regulators and support projects through the regulatory process
- Mentor junior scientists, geologists, and engineers
- Support existing client relationships and identify opportunities for additional work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of environmental consulting experience
- Experience managing remediation and site investigation projects
- Strong understanding of Illinois environmental regulations and closure programs
- Experience with petroleum impacts, groundwater investigations, and remediation systems preferred
- Strong technical writing and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
