Are you an experienced Security Project Manager looking to take ownership of larger, more complex construction projects while helping drive the growth of a thriving security division?
Our client is a leading low-voltage and systems integration contractor seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead electronic security projects throughout the Greater Boston area. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction project delivery who can manage large-scale projects while remaining engaged with customers, field teams, and technical operations.
This is not a desk-only position. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving between the office, project sites, and customer meetings to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage electronic security projects from award through closeout
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, labor planning, forecasting, and profitability
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, general contractors, and end users
- Lead project kickoff meetings and maintain customer communication throughout project execution
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address challenges, and support field personnel
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and project documentation
- Manage change orders, RFIs, procurement activities, and project reporting
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Support field technicians, supervisors, and installation teams with technical and operational guidance
- Identify opportunities for future work and help strengthen long-term client relationships
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within electronic security, low voltage, building automation, electrical construction, or related industries
- Direct construction project experience is required
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, labor management, and construction workflows
- Experience coordinating with general contractors, owners, architects, and other trades
- Ability to lead large-scale projects while maintaining strong customer relationships
- Comfortable spending time in the field and supporting project teams on-site
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Desire to mentor others and contribute to a growing operation
