Service Advisor

Our client is a growing Building Automation and HVAC Controls contractor seeking a Service Advisor to support customers across New Hampshire. This role is ideal for someone who understands HVAC and control systems, enjoys working with customers, and wants to play a key role in identifying service needs, developing solutions, and generating repair and upgrade proposals.
This position serves as the bridge between field operations, customers, and future project opportunities. You'll use your technical knowledge to evaluate service requirements, develop estimates, and help customers improve the performance of their building systems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Review service opportunities and generate repair, replacement, and upgrade proposals
- Develop estimates and quotations for HVAC and Building Automation service work
- Work closely with technicians, project teams, and customers to understand site requirements
- Perform site visits and facility walk-throughs as needed
- Identify opportunities for system improvements, energy savings, and operational efficiencies
- Follow up on outstanding quotations and support proposal conversion efforts
- Assist in managing service agreement customers and recurring maintenance opportunities
- Build relationships with facility managers, property managers, engineers, and end users
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, quotations, and customer communications
What We're Looking For
- Strong technical background in HVAC, mechanical systems, and/or Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Experience in HVAC service, controls service, estimating, project coordination, commissioning, or technical sales support
- Ability to interpret service reports and develop practical customer solutions
- Understanding of HVAC equipment, control systems, troubleshooting, and system operation
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites throughout New Hampshire
