You'll support a diverse portfolio of environmental investigation and remediation projects involving soil, groundwater, vapor intrusion, industrial facilities, redevelopment sites, and complex regulatory programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects from planning through regulatory closure.
- Lead site characterization programs, groundwater investigations, and remedial implementation efforts.
- Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, remedial action plans, feasibility studies, and regulatory deliverables.
- Coordinate field activities, including drilling, sampling, contractor oversight, and subcontractor management.
- Analyze environmental data and develop conceptual site models to support remedial decision-making.
- Interface directly with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, scopes, and overall project performance.
- Support proposal development and help identify opportunities for continued client growth.
- Mentor and develop junior geologists, engineers, and environmental scientists.
- Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred or required, depending on experience level.
- Experience managing environmental consulting projects involving contaminated soil and groundwater.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, investigation strategies, and remediation approaches.
- Experience with groundwater monitoring, soil sampling, remediation systems, vapor intrusion, PFAS, or related technical areas.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to build relationships with clients, regulators, contractors, and internal teams.
- Proven ability to mentor staff and contribute to team growth.
