A growing employee-owned engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to help lead and expand its municipal water/wastewater practice in Colorado.
This opportunity is ideal for a technical project manager who enjoys leading teams, developing junior engineers, and overseeing projects from pursuit through delivery. The group has a strong backlog of work and is looking for an experienced engineer who can serve as a trusted leader for both clients and internal staff.
The hiring team is open to candidates who are already Senior Project Managers overseeing a team and managing projects and are looking for a step up into senior leadership, as well as project managers who are ready for that next step in terms of expanding their responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction support
- Managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and client communication
- Providing technical leadership and quality oversight to project teams
- Mentoring developing engineers and helping grow the local practice
- Supporting business development and proposal efforts while remaining engaged in project delivery
- Working closely with leadership on strategic growth initiatives throughout the region
Project Experience of Interest:
Candidates may come from a variety of water and wastewater backgrounds, including:
- Water distribution systems
- Water transmission mains
- Wastewater collection systems
- Utility infrastructure improvements
- Pump stations
- Municipal capital improvement programs
- Conveyance and pipeline projects
What We're Looking For:
- PE licensed in Colorado
- 10+ years of water/wastewater consulting experience
- Demonstrated experience leading projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong technical background with the ability to mentor staff and review engineering work
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships
- Interest in helping shape the future direction of a growing practice
