ssential Functions
- Perform checkout, startup, and testing of BMS DDC controllers supporting a variety of mechanical systems within data centers and other critical facilities.
- Perform checkout, startup, and testing of EPMS graphics and monitoring systems supporting electrical infrastructure and power distribution systems.
- Provide consistent communication, project updates, and status reports to Project Leads and Project Managers.
- Coordinate directly with customers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders while maintaining a professional presence on-site.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and assist with project closeout activities.
- Develop and follow Method of Procedure (MOP) and Change Management (CM) documentation.
- Execute BMS commissioning activities, including pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing.
- Execute EPMS commissioning activities, including pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing.
- Perform maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and system support on active BMS and EPMS installations within operational data center environments.
- Support multiple concurrent projects across the United States.
- Work within highly secure customer environments while adhering to client-specific security procedures and protocols.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support to both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Associate degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent industry experience, or a minimum of three years of hands-on automation and controls experience.
- Experience working with BACnet, Modbus, and third-party systems integration preferred.
- Strong understanding of building automation, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
- Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
- Solid understanding of computer operating systems and networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Project management software experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% to project sites throughout the United States.
