Water/Wastewater Engineer
An established consulting engineering firm is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of complex municipal and industrial water treatment projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of treatment facilities while taking on increasing technical leadership and project management responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing
- Plan and design water treatment facilities and associated infrastructure.
- Perform facility assessments and planning studies.
- Lead technical design efforts across multidisciplinary project teams.
- Manage projects from concept development through construction.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, subconsultants, and internal teams.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Provide construction-phase support, including submittal reviews, RFIs, site visits, and technical problem-solving.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project interviews.
- Assist with proposals and business development efforts.
- Mentor and support the growth of junior engineering staff.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience in water treatment planning, design, and construction.
- Experience with municipal water treatment facilities and process systems.
- Strong understanding of treatment technologies, water quality, process design, and facility improvements.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure.
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Advanced degree in a related engineering discipline.
- Hydraulic and process modelling experience.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects.
