My client, a growing architecture firm headquartered in Austin, is looking to add a Project Architect or a Project Manager to the offices in either Corpus or Austin, TX.
This person would own 3-4 projects - keeping them on time/budget, acting as point for the client, managing the internal team of 1-2 other people to deliver a great client experience and a quality set of documents. They would be expected to help coach and teach those around them. They would be expected to help produce in Revit as well as oversee the team's output, assigning tasks and monitoring progress. They would be responsible for the technical aspects of the project including construct-ability, code compliance, and client coordination. They would work with the Studio Director to track financial performance of their projects and make adjustments as necessary.
The firm has a very diverse portfolio and works on a wide variety of project types including retail, multifamily, single family, hospitality, restaurants, and office. They pride themselves on great client service and good, value-add design. Generally, everyone works on 3-4 projects across multiple types and phases, so you aren't stuck in one area of the profession. They reward effort, not seniority. They are committed to their communities and have monthly organized community service events that act as team building and a way to give back.
