Position Summary: The Asset Management Analyst/Associate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of renewable energy generation assets. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices
- Assess the financial health of renewable energy assets
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to identify and resolve any operational issues or equipment failures promptly
- Develop and implement strategies to improve asset reliability, availability, and performance
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Monitor revenue generation, operating costs, and budget adherence
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts, identifying opportunities to optimize revenue streams
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with financial regulations
- Manage contracts and agreements related to renewable energy generation assets
- Monitor contract compliance, including performance guarantees, maintenance obligations, and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to negotiate and review contracts
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct analysis, develop and implement strategies to maximize energy output, minimize equipment failures, and extend asset lifespan
- Staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and leverage new opportunities will be essential for this role
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, business administration, or a related field is required. A master's degree in any of these fields is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of renewable energy technologies, industry regulations, and best practices is essential.
- Familiarity with financial analysis, budgeting, and contract management; impressive analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; and a keen attention to detail are required.
