Automation Lead

Position:

We are seeking an experienced Automation and Controls Engineering Manager/Lead to join our dynamic team. This leadership role will oversee the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions tailored to our pharmaceutical clients' specific needs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of automation engineers in the design, development, and implementation of PLC and SCADA systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop effective automation strategies.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on automation technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver solutions on time and within scope.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols to maintain high standards of quality and safety in automation systems.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in automation and controls engineering, with a focus on PLC and SCADA systems.
• Strong background in programming PLCs and SCADA systems from scratch, including design, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated industries (e.g., biotech, food & beverage) is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., FDA, GMP) related to automation and controls in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
