BAS Construction Manager
Location: Dallas, Texas, United States
Responsibilities: Join an exciting team as a BAS Construction Manager and take charge of driving this companies operations to new heights. Your key duties will include:
- Collaborating with the Operations and Sales Teams to devise effective strategies for capturing and retaining market share.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to our team of BAS Controls Technicians and helpers to ensure top-notch service delivery.
- Overseeing project management for internal BAS jobs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinating various construction activities for BAS projects, including material procurement and labor scheduling.
- Estimating project scopes and budgets accurately to facilitate efficient resource allocation.
- Networking both internally and externally to foster strong industry relationships.
- Forecasting revenue and labor requirements to inform strategic business planning.
- Managing operational costs, including investments in training and tools, to optimize departmental efficiency.
- Upholding company policies related to safety, customer satisfaction, and financial management.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, you'll need:
- At least 10 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate challenging situations effectively.
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC control systems and familiarity with various products and vendor hardware.
- Proficiency in contracting procedures, including project correspondence and subcontract negotiation.
- A solid grasp of financial metrics such as revenue, cost, gross margin, and cash management, coupled with strong leadership and customer service abilities.
