Business Valuation and Litigation Leader

Overview: Our client are a leading firm specializing in business valuation and litigation support services, with a dedicated focus on the state of Florida. As a completely separate entity within the firms network, they are expanding their presence and seeking a dynamic individual to join us as the Leader for Valuation and Litigation in Forensics for the state of Florida. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape our practice, leveraging existing relationships and developing new ones to drive growth and excellence in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the business valuation and litigation support practice in Florida.
- Handle a diverse range of valuation projects, including those related to M&A, private companies, commercial litigation, divorce, ownership disputes, and lost profits.
- Cultivate warm relationships with CPAs, attorneys, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals to generate referrals and business opportunities.
- Take charge of shaping the practice in Florida, proactively seeking opportunities for growth and development.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and the continuous improvement of skills.
Requirements:
- Strong background in business valuation and litigation support, with a minimum of 8 years' experience.
- Familiarity with Florida's business landscape and legal environment is preferred.
- Ability to handle a significant workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building and maintaining relationships.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and drive results.

- Willingness to travel both internally and externally within Florida as needed.
Perfect Candidate: The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both valuation and litigation support. While prior experience in litigation support is preferred, the clients are willing to provide training for the right candidate who demonstrates a keen interest and willingness to learn.
