Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Control Engineer with over two years of experience to join our dynamic team in Nashville. As a Control Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and support of control systems integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with proven capabilities in various aspects of control system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical and Pneumatic Design:
- Provide direction and expertise in electrical and/or pneumatic system design.
- Ensure designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
CAD Schematic Supervision and Support:
- Oversee the creation of CAD schematics for control systems.
- Review and redline schematics during the design phase, as well as during debug and startup phases, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
System Programming:
- Develop and implement programming for control systems, which may include PLC, HMI, Robotic, C++, Visual Basic, and other relevant languages.
- Ensure programming is optimized for system performance and reliability.
Panel and Field Assembly Supervision:
- Supervise the assembly of control panels and field installations.
- Ensure all project requirements are met and installations comply with relevant standards.
Startup and Debug Leadership:
- Lead efforts in the startup and debugging of control systems.
- Work closely with the project team to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Customer Support:
- Provide acceptance, installation, and startup support at customer facilities as required.
- Ensure smooth transition and integration of control systems into customer operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in control systems integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as PLC, HMI, Robotic, C++, Visual Basic, etc.
- Strong understanding of electrical and pneumatic systems design.
- Experience with CAD software for schematic generation and review.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lead and manage projects from conception through completion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Certification in relevant technical areas (e.g., PLC programming, robotics).
