We are seeking a talented and experienced Environmental Project Manager to join the team in Oregon at a globally recognized engineering design firm.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental project management, with a particular focus on NEPA and SEPA compliance. As an Environmental Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects meet all environmental regulations and standards while delivering positive outcomes for our clients and the environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage environmental projects from inception to completion, ensuring they adhere to NEPA and SEPA requirements.
- Conduct environmental assessments, biological assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Prepare and review environmental documents, reports, and permit applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and regulatory experts, to develop project strategies and solutions.
- Liaise with government agencies, stakeholders, and clients to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, and make adjustments as needed.
- Stay current on environmental regulations and industry trends to provide expert guidance to clients and project teams.
- Promote sustainability and environmental stewardship in all project activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, natural resources management, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in environmental project management, with a focus on NEPA and SEPA compliance.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex environmental projects.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, AICP) are a plus.
