Position Overview: We are in search of a seasoned and visionary Director of Production to become a valuable member of our team. The ideal candidate should excel in leadership, creativity, and technical expertise.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the success of our events by overseeing technical staff, managing pre-production and training initiatives, ensuring show quality, and upholding standard operating procedures.
Managing Production Staff:
Lead and supervise a diverse team of production professionals, including show producers, technical directors, lead technicians, crew members, and operators.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to enhance individual and team performance.
Allocate work assignments, show responsibilities, and leadership roles among show producers, technical directors, technicians, operators, and crew members.
Pre-Production and Training Programs:
Coordinate and execute production meetings to align teams and ensure a comprehensive grasp of project requirements.
Create and implement training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of our production team.
Participate in meetings with the President, Sales, and/or Operations departments to contribute to the overall company values and standards.
Show Quality Assurance & Onsite Oversight:
Conduct onsite checks for show quality assurance to verify adherence to design specifications and production standards.
Ensure the safety of all production elements, including equipment, rigging, and stage setups.
Assess the quality of productions delivered by Technical Directors, ensuring alignment with design specifications, technical standards, and client expectations.
As needed, operate or lead shows.
Maintenance and Administration of Production SOPs:
Establish and uphold production standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations and ensure consistency.
Regularly review and update SOPs to reflect industry best practices and evolving technological advancements.
Implement administrative processes to document and track production activities, ensuring efficient workflow management.

Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
