We are working closely with a major provider of technology to the food processing sector as well as numerous other industrial sectors.
Our client is searching for a skilled Service Technician to do repairs and upkeep on machinery and process facilities at our client's locations throughout Australia.
Responsibilities:
* Perform both routine maintenance and emergency service support as needed.
* Offer technical assistance and troubleshooting
* Communicate with clients or their representatives while carrying out the service duties.
* Help with the upkeep of technical files and reference manuals.
* Keep up-to-date reports and documentation, such as parts and time, for customer invoicing.
* Help out in different areas of the company as needed to guarantee the general efficacy of the enterprise.
* You will be required to travel across Australia to various customer sites.
Ideal Qualifications:
* Experienced as a Fitter & Turner or similar experience within engineering, service or maintenance.
* Ability to decipher service manuals and drawings.
* Experience working within the food, beverage or dairy industries with rotating machinery would be preferable.
* Excellent interpersonal, oral, speaking and writing skills and ability to work independently
