Our Client is an innovative company that believes in sustainable built environments and maximizing energy sources for low-carbon solutions. They are currently seeking a talented, self-motivated individual to fill the role of Fire Protection Engineer in our Washington D.C. office.
Job Description:
As a fire protection engineer, your primary duties include but not limited to:
- Collaborating with architects on building designs
- Conducting risk assessments
- Designing fire suppression systems such as sprinklers and alarms
- Evaluating existing structures' firefighting equipment's efficacy
Qualifications & Skills Required:
We're looking for someone who has experience working with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical Plumbing) teams while also having extensive knowledge of Low Voltage Infrastructure. The following qualifications/skills should apply;
1. Bachelor's degree or higher qualification from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 3 years' proven work experience under their belt;
3.Strong problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently using logic reasoning techniques,
4.Solid understanding/knowledge regarding NFPA codes/standards/regulations applicable within this field .
5.Professional certification/licenses relevant towards engineering/fire-protection must have been obtained beforehand.
Salary Information:
The salary range varies depending upon candidate skill set/experience which we feel would suitably match up against various factors concerning job requirements mentioned above.
