The Partner for Forensic & Litigation Services is responsible for leading, executing, and delivery of challenging valuation engagements by participating in all aspects of projects, from the initial proposal preparation, through project completion. In this role, the Director is actively engaged in the management of business valuation assignments for litigation purposes and managing staff in the development of such assignments.
Responsibilities
- Performs related company, industry, and economic research
- Analyzes client financial statements
- Documents and maintains all appropriate aspects of the work product
- Composes narrative reports in support of valuation analyses
- Prepare valuation reports for litigation support.
- Ensures quality controls are adhered in association with all work products
- Participates in internal and external client meetings
- Assists and provides guidance to peers and staff members in the development of project plans and timelines for deliverables
- Provide expert witness testimony
- Supervises the day-to-day workload of Senior Associates/Associates on assigned engagements and reviews work product. Responsible for ensuring associates are trained, evaluate performance and career development.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, in either Accounting, Finance or Economics
- 10 years minimum of relevant experience is required
- CPA is required, (ABV, ASA, CFA, CVA ideal but not mandatory)
- Demonstrated ability to network, market, develop leads
- Experience with and understanding of valuation theory and principal's
- Experience in litigation support required
- Understanding of economic damage, Loss of profit analysis and performing and reviewing financial analyses
- Ability to analyze agreements, contracts and legal documents
