Interiors Project Manager
A nationally renowned Boston Architecture firm is in need of a collaborative and experienced Interiors Project Manager to make a meaningful impact on projects and serve as the primary liaison between highly valued clients and the design team. Requirements:
- 10 - 15+ years of experience
- Strong sense of design philosophy and concept
- Experience in at least one of the following project types: academic, hospitality, multi-family, workplace, retail
- Knowledge of furniture specification process
- Strong business development and client-facing skills
- Bachelor or Masters in Interior Design or Architecture
Responsibilities:
- Manage the project team and outside consultants throughout all phases of project work, contracts, schedule, quality control, project cost control, and project profitability
- Effectively articulate design concepts to clients and peers
- Consult with a variety of stakeholders to determine project budget and function
- Direct preparation of drawings, layouts, and reports incorporating materials, specifications, costs and construction time and phasing
- Produce, coordinate, and oversee presentation and deliverables
- Mentor junior staff
- Collaborate with various consultants
