Partnered with a world-renowned and respected firm in the engineering & infrastructure market. They work on the largest GEC contracts in the world and utilizes the BEST technology and resources out there. They're looking to expand their traffic team looking for a Lead Project Engineer - Traffic to join their Raleigh, NC office. They work on the BIGGEST projects with NCDOT with alot of it being design/build work and win 80% of the bids they place. This person will play a crucial role in delivering traffic projects by utilizing their expertise to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop plans and drawings for preliminary and/or final layouts of ITS designs and traffic studies
- Lead the delivery of traffic projects including traffic assessments and improvement schemes
- Develop and maintain response plans and etc. to support traffic operations
- Collaborate/Coordinate with other disciplines as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 6+ years of traffic engineering experience
- PE Licensed in North Carolina
- Software experience with tools like Synchro/SimTraffic, Vissim, and/or HCS
- Knowledge of NCDOT design standards
