My client is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Live Events Account Executive to join their team in Orlando, Florida. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our live events department by developing and maintaining strong client relationships and delivering exceptional event solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and cultivate relationships with clients, event planners, and vendors to understand their event needs and objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning and execution process, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams including event coordinators, designers, and production staff to develop innovative and customized event solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking, industry events, and cold outreach.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and budgets to clients, negotiating terms as needed to secure business.
- Oversee the planning, logistics, and execution of events, ensuring all aspects meet client expectations and budget constraints.
- Provide on-site support during events, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth operation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance service offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in event planning or sales, preferably in the live events industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of event production processes and logistics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for events.
