Municipal Team Leader in Kansas City
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join their team as a Municipal Team Leader. As one of the leading civil engineering firms in the US and beyond, our client is a full-service engineering firm. Priding themselves on the best expertise in the industry and exciting local and national projects, they have been in business more than 90 years and looking to continue to grow with this senior level hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead project teams on municipal/public works infrastructure design projects
- Develop technical reports, feasibility studies, construction plans & specifications
- Manage budgets and timelines while ensuring quality standards are met
- Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction throughout all phases of each project.
- Previous experience with business development is not essential but an important skill that will be nurtured in this role.
- Mentorship of junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field.
- PE License.
- At least 10 years' experience managing complex public works/municipal infrastructure improvement programs/projects.
- Experience working closely with local municipalities/clients within KC Metro area is strongly encouraged.
Salary and Benefits:
- $100k-$150k per annum, dependent on experience/ability to bring in work.
- Bonus program reflective of company profits
- 401k match of 7%
- Up to 6 weeks PTO
- Hybrid working schedule
