We are looking for an experienced Offshore Wind O&M Manager who possesses extensive knowledge in offshore substation operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the renewable energy industry, particularly in the offshore wind sector. The role entails overseeing day-to-day activities related to operations and maintenance of offshore wind projects, with a specific focus on substation infrastructure.
* Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to efficiently and effectively manage the operations and maintenance of offshore wind farms, with an emphasis on substation infrastructure.
* Ensure the safe and efficient operation of offshore substations by adhering to applicable regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Plan and manage maintenance activities for offshore substations, including both preventive and corrective measures, to optimize equipment reliability and availability.
* Lead and manage a team of O&M personnel, including technicians and engineers, by allocating resources, providing training, and overseeing performance.
* Coordinate and oversee the activities of external contractors and service providers involved in the O&M of offshore wind substations, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
* Implement and utilize monitoring systems to track the performance of offshore substation assets, identify potential issues, and recommend appropriate actions for optimization.
* Develop and manage the O&M budget for offshore substations, monitor expenses, and identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising safety or performance.
* Prepare regular reports on the O&M activities of offshore wind substations, including equipment performance, maintenance activities, and incident management, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, foster a strong safety culture, and implement initiatives to minimize risks to personnel and the environment.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as project developers, contractors, regulatory bodies, and suppliers, to facilitate effective communication and alignment of objectives.
* Take ownership of reviewing, tendering, and setting up specific O&M contracts, as well as addressing O&M requirements covered in major equipment supply agreements.
* Support the implementation of the operational period strategy and facilitate the hand-over from the construction team to operations, including reviewing and accepting project technical documentation.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, focusing on offshore wind operations and maintenance, particularly in offshore substations.
* Strong technical knowledge and understanding of offshore wind substation systems, including electrical equipment, transformers, switchgear, and SCADA systems.
* Proven experience in managing and leading O&M teams, including technicians and engineers, in the offshore wind sector.
* In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to offshore wind operations, maintenance, and substation management.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines and achieve results.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and resolving technical and operational issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and relationship-building with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

* A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as electrical engineering or renewable energy is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
