We are seeking a proactive and collaborative PMO Manager to join an offshore wind developer in Taiwan. This pivotal role has been established to address the consistent need for structured collection, evaluation, rationalization, and follow-up on lessons learned, as recognized by both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be instrumental in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement by effectively documenting and disseminating insights drawn from project phases, operational experiences, and broader organizational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the identification, collection, analysis, and dissemination of valuable insights derived from completed project phases and operational experiences within the organization.
- Play a critical role in promoting a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring the documentation and sharing of lessons learned across teams and departments.
- Enhance organizational efficiency, decision-making, and performance by leveraging collective knowledge from past project experiences.
- Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to capture knowledge and lessons learned.
- Review project documentation, reports, and post-project evaluations to extract key insights and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a centralized database of lessons learned, ensuring accessibility to relevant stakeholders.
- Organize lessons learned in a structured manner for efficient retrieval and reference.
- Develop and implement strategies for sharing lessons learned across the project organization.
- Conduct workshops and presentations to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with various teams to integrate lessons learned into existing processes.
- Validate and verify lessons learned data for accuracy and reliability.
- Monitor the impact of lessons learned on project success and operational efficiency.
- Research and identify best practices and benchmarking opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in knowledge management, lessons learned, project management, or related fields.
- Track record of successfully implementing lessons learned processes and initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Extensive understanding of project processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field; master's preferred but not required.
- Experience in large and complex infrastructure construction projects, preferably in renewable energy and/or offshore industry.
- Proficiency in English
- Familiarity with knowledge management processes and tools, particularly MS Office products.
Reporting and Location: The Lessons Learned Manager will report to the Head of the Project Management Office in the line organization and to the PMO Director in the Project Organization. The primary work location for this role is Taipei, Taiwan, with occasional travel to Europe.
