This position will be accountable for maintaining multiple projects within the Civil Engineering Department as well as training staff members working on those projects. A Project Manager is responsible for all phases of the client's projects relating to site development. This is a key position that has significant impact on the firm's overall success, both financially and in establishing long term client relations.
This position reports to the Director of Civil Engineering.
Requirements
A Project Manager will have 6-8 years of design experience and Professional Engineer's license. This position requires a full understanding of the land development process from conceptual phase to construction administration and certifications. This person should have a varied amount of technical, people, managerial and business skills. The position will require experience in managing clients and maintaining a significant volume of work with little input from the Director. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
