Responsibilities: As a seasoned Project Manager / Electrical Engineer PE with extensive experience in handling large-scale commercial projects, you will be at the forefront of driving successful project execution. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
- Leading and managing multidisciplinary project teams throughout all project phases, from conception to completion.
- Collaborating with architects, clients, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Overseeing the design and development of electrical systems for commercial facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Implementing best practices in project management, risk assessment, and quality control to ensure project success.
- Conducting regular project status meetings and effectively communicating updates to all stakeholders.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to the project team to resolve complex engineering challenges.
- Conducting on-site inspections and ensuring construction activities align with approved designs and project specifications.
- Facilitating effective communication and collaboration between different project stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
Requirements: To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure is mandatory.
- Around 10 years of hands-on experience managing large commercial projects, including hospital/healthcare, K-12 schools & universities, government/federal building projects, and stadiums.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery, meeting timelines and budgets.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems design, codes, and standards related to commercial buildings.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients and team members.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail in reviewing project plans and documentation.
