Job Summary: The Audio Visual Account Executive is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by prospecting, acquiring, and maintaining client accounts in the audiovisual technology sector. This role involves building strong client relationships, understanding their AV needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those requirements. The ideal candidate should have a deep knowledge of audiovisual technology, strong sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage accounts and projects effectively.
- Identify and target potential clients in various industries who require audiovisual solutions. Generate leads, conduct market research, and build a robust pipeline of prospects.
- Manage and nurture existing client accounts, understanding their evolving AV needs, and ensuring client satisfaction. Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Collaborate with AV engineers and technical teams to design customized audiovisual solutions that align with the client's requirements and budget.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and capabilities of audiovisual solutions.
- Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and pricing structures in collaboration with technical teams. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during AV project implementation. Coordinate with project teams, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest audiovisual technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings. Provide expert advice to clients on AV equipment and services.
- Set and achieve sales targets and revenue goals for the assigned territory or accounts.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of client interactions, sales activities, and project details. Use CRM tools effectively.
- Provide ongoing technical support and assistance to clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Gather feedback from clients to improve products and services, and communicate client feedback to internal teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven track record in audiovisual sales or a related field.
- Strong understanding of audiovisual technology, equipment, and solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
