Remote Structural Project Manager

Projects range from simple site inspections to the design of new facilities, covering all stages from feasibility studies to construction administration.
What You Will Do:
A remote work opportunity for a Project Manager living in Central Florida, focusing on providing technical and project management leadership on varied project scales. Expected to manage project budget, schedule, and team resources, with typical projects ranging from existing building expansions/modifications to new building designs exceeding 800,000 square feet.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate information across all disciplines to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations and organizational quality standards.
- Provide guidance/oversight to drafting staff for contract drawings.
- Oversee engineering staff to ensure tasks meet code requirements and client/project standards.
- Manage overall project budget and schedule.
- Manage existing client relationships and lead client meetings.
- Assist with business development tasks, including engaging potential clients and developing proposals.
- Provide quality control review to ensure submittals meet project delivery standards.
- Provide Construction Administration support.
- Offer engineering or project management assistance for projects outside of target specialty or for other offices as necessary.
What We Are Looking For:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in building structural design.
- Active Professional Engineer license.
- Experience in Revit and industry standard software.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial building codes and structural design code references.
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
- Previous project management/client management experience is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Thorough understanding of building design and construction, particularly structural detailing.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to identify applicable codes and apply them to projects.
