Currently partnered with a large national Mechanical Contractor specializing in large scale industrial and commercial construction projects. They're currently seeking an experienced Safety Manager for large industrial project in Stanton, TN but have projects across the US with a 5 year backlog.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Provide safety training and meetings to employees, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring understanding and compliance with safety regulations.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, analyzing root causes and recommending preventive measures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, regulations, and emerging trends in health and safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager in a mechanical contracting or related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage employees at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- OSHA 300 certified
