Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible in developing plans to increase market share of all assigned product lines through communications with municipal government officials, consulting engineers, engineering firms, industrial and utility companies
- Responsible to qualify projects, comparing competitive alternates, and generating scopes of supply with client for estimating and design
- Responsible in coordinating sales distribution by establishing quotas and goals with representatives and distributors
- Responsible in seeking out and researches prospective projects through established sales channels and recommend the development of alternate sales channels
- Responsible in driving the process for major project pursuit developing sales strategies with inside sales and representative network.
- Responsible in assisting with the negotiations of contracts for purchase w/ the legal staff (paralegals, etc.)
- Responsible in conducting commercial presentations
- Responsible in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key purchasing influences
- Responsible in keeping company management informed of business conditions which may affect assigned product or markets
- Responsible in providing external leadership for the assigned product or market by actively participating in trade shows, equipment seminars and training activities
- Responsible in recommending product pricing targets
- Responsible in ensuring that profit margins are maximized for the assigned product
- Responsible in assigning sales territory to independent sales representatives
- Responsible in working with marketing and promotion, including advertising, review media, specials sales, and subsidiary rights
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in relevant studies
- Minimum 10-15 years in water treatment industry
