Title: Senior Commissioning Engineer-Mechanical

Salary: $100,000-$150,000
Summary: A well-recognized engineering, design, and technology firm is looking to grow and expand their commissioning team. With 13 offices spanning across the east coast, the firm is looking for their next expert to be a senior leader on the various project types, ranging from healthcare projects to education projects. With this role, the firm is seeking someone who can manage and lead commissioning projects. This position requires expertise in MEP systems, LEED certification, and sustainable design practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pre-functional and functional testing and verification of equipment and systems in the field
- Lead commissioning teams from start to finish of projects, ensuring project success and efficiency
- Evaluate engineering guidelines, industry standards, along with commissioning and code requirements to ensure compliance
- Manage client expectations, create and maintain project plans, evaluate Building Automation System (BAS) performance
- Collaborate closely with marketing, leadership, and business development to contribute to the firm's growth and success
- Develop proposals and formulate responses to RFPs for commissioning projects
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 9+ years of experience with a consulting engineering firm, contractor, or commissioning firm
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
- Strong knowledge of MEP building systems and commissioning requirements
- Problem solving, attention to detail, time management skills
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification
