Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of control systems for industrial processes and machinery.
- Work closely with project teams to define control system requirements and specifications.
- Develop PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) programs.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Provide technical expertise and support to junior engineers and technicians.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and customize control solutions accordingly.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in control systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controls Engineer in an industrial or automation setting.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, including knowledge of popular platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
- Strong understanding of HMI development and SCADA systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in control system design.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with motion control systems is a plus.
