Job Description:
Seeking a talented and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems to lead and execute the design and development of complex projects. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to provide cutting-edge engineering solutions to our clients. This position is based in Maryland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and analysis of mechanical systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
- Provide technical expertise in the development of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system design.
- Prepare and review design drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess project progress and resolve engineering issues.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland.
- 6+ years of experience in the design of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- LEED certification is a plus.
