Purpose
The Sr Project Manager, ROW will be expected to take on a leadership role within the Right of Way team to provide services to clients and will coordinate with Right of Way Agents/COS, project managers and other leadership, clients, engineers, and other disciplines to deliver on schedule and on budget transportation, energy, or utility projects. The Project Manager will train and mentor junior staff and manage workload for their team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
ยท Works closely with Director, Right of Way to direct, manage and lead a right-of-way team in an office and / or in the field.
ยท Supervise and be responsible for the overall directions, coordination, and management of a right-of-way team and sub-consultants. Mentor and train staff.
ยท Responsible for management of daily plan production of team, schedule, budget, quality control/assurance, collections, and opportunities.
ยท Tracks results and reports progress on a regular basis.
ยท Assist in developing processes and providing input for achieving company and office operational excellence while growing region and office.
ยท Coordinate with leaders on project goals, progress, processes, reporting, and resource allocation.
ยท Complete timesheet review and employee evaluations.

Minimum Requirements
ยท Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university and/or equivalent industry related Right of Way work experience
ยท Minimum eight to ten (8-10) years' experience performing all aspects of land, right of way, easement acquisition, title research, or comparable industry related education
ยท Minimum two (2) years' Right of Way supervisory experience, preferred
ยท Ability to lead and develop a right of way team and manage projects. Minimum two years supervisory experience preferred.
ยท Ability to work evenings and weekends.
ยท Knowledge in all aspects of Right of Way, including project management, acquisition, title, permitting, budgeting, cost forecasting, operation, due diligence, public relations, community outreach and solid understanding of general regulatory, eminent domain, and legal issues.
ยท Understand and accurately interpret financial reports and metrics.
ยท Experience reading construction / engineering or related design plans/profiles.
ยท Intermediate computer skills in various Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with database systems.
ยท Satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and a current, valid State driver's license.
ยท Excellent communication and organizational skills.
ยท Multilingual is a plus.
ยท Ability to obtain a real estate license in state if required.
