We have a current opportunity for a Project Engineer/Area Lead on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Foxborough, Massachusetts - which is right outside of the Boston, MA area. This role has flexibility to work remotely on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships
- Perform & direct team in detailed design of medium to extra high voltage substations (ie: one-line diagrams, SCADA, wiring diagrams, communications, substation physical layouts, project scheduling, etc...)
- Ensure quality procedures are followed
- Perform QA/QC for deliverables to clients
- Manage schedule, budget and quality of projects the team is assigned to
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- Experience with substation design between 15kV through 345kV
- Strong English language skills (oral & written) in order to communicate with the team and clients effectively
- Legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience with utility substation design
- Experience with substation design between 345kV through 500kV
- P.E. License
- Project management or leadership experience of a substation team/project
