My client is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Live Events Technical Producer to manage and oversee the technical production of live events. The successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of technical production, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality experiences for audiences. The Live Events Technical Producer will provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members and collaborate with various technical staff to deliver successful events.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the technical production team during live events.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior technical production staff.
- Plan and design event layouts, including stage setup and equipment placement.
- Coordinate the setup, configuration, and operation of technical event equipment such as lighting, sound, and video systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues in real-time during events.
- Collaborate with audio, video, lighting, and other technical staff for synchronized production.
- Breakdown and maintain technical event equipment post-event.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, managing technical aspects of contracts and proposals.
- Ensure compliance with technical production standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Technical Production, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in live event technical production and management.
- Strong knowledge of technical production elements such as audio, lighting, and video.
- Experience leading and managing a team of technical production staff.
- Proficiency with technical event production equipment and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and negotiate technical aspects of contracts and proposals.
- Experience ensuring compliance with technical production standards.
