Position: Traffic Engineering Leader

We are thrilled to announce an immediate opening for a Traffic Engineering Leader to spearhead the establishment and management of a traffic engineering group within the vibrant Texas market. This pivotal role will be instrumental in fortifying our presence in Texas by nurturing talent, shaping strategic growth initiatives, and fostering positive client relationships. The ideal candidate will embody integrity, possess sound business acumen, and demonstrate a proven track record in guiding successful traffic engineering practices.
Key Leadership Responsibilities:
- Uphold integrity and sound business principles in all operational endeavors
- Develop and execute business strategies, setting clear goals for growth and expansion
- Foster positive client relationships through open communication and collaboration
- Drive the development and direction of the traffic engineering practice
- Play a key role in expanding our presence in Texas and supporting company-wide growth initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in transportation project design
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; Master's Degree or advanced qualifications desirable
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) registered in the state of Texas
- Profound understanding of TXDOT Policies and Procedures preferred
- Proven ability to develop and expand engineering groups while fostering internal and external relationships
- Effective management and mentorship of staff across all levels, with a focus on resource allocation
- Excellent communication and business development skills, including client relations, strategic partnering, proposal preparation, and presentation delivery
- Proficiency in engineering project management, including scope definition, cost estimation, and schedule development
- Commitment to ensuring quality and timeliness of project deliverables, overseeing work execution
- Availability for travel to project sites, company offices, and client meetings
- Positive attitude and collaborative spirit, dedicated to ongoing professional and technical growth
