Job Title: Vice President of Building Sciences (Los Angeles or Irvine, California)
Salary: $165,000 - $235,000

Position Overview: The Vice President of Building Sciences will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our firm's building sciences department. This hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in construction, project management, business development, and operations management. The ideal candidate will possess a CAC certification, a proven track record of winning work, and the ability to effectively manage large-scale and complex projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the building sciences department with a focus on delivering high-quality services and exceeding client expectations.
- Drive business development efforts to expand the firm's market presence and secure new projects.
- Oversee project management activities, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the team to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field highly preferred.
- CAC certification is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in building sciences, construction management, or related field.
- Proven track record of winning work and successfully managing large-scale and complex projects.
- Strong business acumen with experience in operations management and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- A book of business is highly preferred.
Location and Work Environment: This position is based out of Los Angeles or Irvine, California. While the role offers flexibility for remote work, an in-person presence is highly preferred to facilitate collaboration and client engagement.
