Job Description
Our client offers a full spectrum of water and wastewater services, including a complete line of planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. Maintaining water quality is their number one concern, and they are able to respond to a broad set of client demands in a timely and cost-effective manner. As a Project Water/Wastewater Engineer, you will serve as project manager on small projects, prepare planning and design documents, and process design calculations. The project engineer supervises, coordinates, and reviews work of engineers or technicians and performs complex assignments that require development of new and improved techniques and procedures. You will also coordinate with other teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients. Types of wastewater projects typically include piping extensions and rehabilitation, new pump stations and rehabilitation, treatment plant rehabilitation for various types of treatment processes, and new treatment plant projects.
Travel may be needed to job sites for observation in all types of terrain and weather conditions, as well as project sites in various stages of construction. Opportunities to mentor younger or less experienced staff may be available along with client relations.
Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* 6 or more years of experience, preferably in wastewater engineering.
* Must be a registered Professional Engineer.
* Passion for public works projects.
