This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting edge life sciences, laboratory, pharmaceutical, healthcare, higher education, and technology projects while collaborating with talented professionals across multiple disciplines. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex technical building projects, particularly within life sciences, laboratory, healthcare, technology, and research environments.
  • Assist in the development of projects through all phases, including Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation.
  • Prepare design presentations, visualizations, reports, and other materials that clearly communicate design intent to clients and project teams.
  • Coordinate closely with internal and external engineering consultants throughout the design process.
  • Participate in client meetings, programming sessions, and design presentations.
  • Support code analysis, regulatory review, and technical problem-solving efforts in collaboration with project leadership and subject matter experts.
  • Contribute to project budgeting efforts and maintain awareness of construction costs and project constraints.
  • Assist with Construction Administration activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs, field observations, and bulletin issuance.
  • Gather and analyze project data, helping translate programming requirements into effective design solutions.
  • Maintain strong communication and coordination with project teams, consultants, and clients.
  • Support project managers and senior staff in maintaining project organization, schedules, and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 4-10 years of professional architectural experience.
  • Experience working on life sciences, laboratory, pharmaceutical, healthcare, higher education, technology, manufacturing, or similarly technical project types strongly preferred.
  • Actively pursuing architectural licensure; professional registration is a plus.
  • LEED, WELL, or other sustainability credentials are desirable.
  • Experience working in BIM-based environments, including proficiency with Revit and related design technologies.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and project teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to design excellence and technical quality.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
