BIM Specialist
A well-established multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a BIM Specialist to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of BIM standards, workflows, and digital content across the organization. This is a highly visible position that combines technical expertise, leadership, and training responsibilities while helping drive innovation in design technology. The successful candidate will work closely with firm leadership and project teams to enhance efficiency, consistency, and quality across multiple offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of BIM standards, templates, and content libraries.
- Oversee the organization and management of Revit families, digital assets, and content management platforms.
- Develop and implement automation solutions using Dynamo or similar tools to streamline workflows.
- Provide BIM support, guidance, and training to project teams and technical staff.
- Assist with project setup strategies and firm-wide best practices for BIM execution.
- Research emerging BIM technologies and recommend improvements to support organizational goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Design, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience with Revit, BIM content creation, and standards development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and collaborate with teams across varying skill levels.
- Experience developing scripts or automation tools using Dynamo or comparable platforms.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Background within an architecture, engineering, or design-focused environment preferred.
