A leading mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced High Purity Piping Project Manager to join its growing team in Raleigh, NC. This opportunity is ideal for a project management professional with experience delivering high purity piping, process piping, pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing projects.
This role will be responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful execution, profitability, and client satisfaction while working on some of the most technically complex mechanical projects in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high purity piping and process piping projects from award through completion.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasting, procurement, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with clients, engineering teams, field leadership, and trade partners.
- Monitor project performance and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout the life of each project.
- Support commissioning, startup, and closeout activities.
- Provide leadership to project engineers and support staff.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within mechanical construction.
- Experience managing high purity piping, process piping, pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, semiconductor, or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of stainless steel process piping systems, cleanroom environments, and orbital welding processes.
- Proven experience managing project financials, schedules, and client relationships.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
