About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Service Sales Specialist to join a growing mechanical services team in Charlotte, NC. This individual will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving service agreement sales across commercial and industrial facilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with experience in HVAC, mechanical services, building automation, facilities services, or construction-related sales who enjoys building long-term partnerships and helping customers improve the performance of their facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with facility managers, property managers, building owners, and contractors.
Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and client meetings.
Promote preventative maintenance agreements, service offerings, and mechanical solutions.
Identify opportunities for HVAC, plumbing, controls, and mechanical system upgrades.
Conduct site visits and assess customer needs.
Prepare proposals, presentations, and pricing packages for prospective clients.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution.
Collaborate with service operations teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline activity within CRM systems.
Attend industry events, association meetings, and networking opportunities to expand market presence.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in service sales, HVAC sales, facilities services sales, mechanical contracting, or a related field.
Strong understanding of commercial HVAC, mechanical systems, building services, or facility operations preferred.
Proven ability to develop new business and maintain client relationships.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Charleston market.
