Position Overview
As a Project Manager, you will support multiple mechanical construction projects while serving as a key technical resource for project teams. This role offers a blend of project coordination, technical problem-solving, procurement, and stakeholder management, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to advance within the construction and engineering industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support mechanical construction projects from planning through completion.
- Collaborate with project teams, management, vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and overall progress.
- Manage and track change orders, including schedule and cost impacts.
- Interpret mechanical and plumbing plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare submittals and project documentation.
- Procure materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
- Assist with subcontractor selection and coordination.
- Expedite materials and resources to maintain project schedules.
- Provide technical support and resolve project-related challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience within mechanical construction, HVAC, plumbing, or MEP projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and building systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and plumbing drawings.
- Experience with AutoCAD/CADD and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
