An established environmental consulting firm is seeking a Mid-Level Environmental Professional to support environmental assessment, remediation, and regulatory compliance projects. This individual will work closely with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary project teams while managing a variety of technical and field-based assignments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
- Manage field investigations involving soil, groundwater, and soil gas sampling.
- Prepare technical reports, monitoring plans, remediation documents, and regulatory submittals.
- Support site characterization, remediation, permitting, compliance, and closure activities.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and clients throughout project execution.
- Review environmental data and develop technical recommendations.
- Mentor junior staff and support project delivery, including schedules and budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of environmental consulting experience.
- Experience with environmental site assessment, remediation, and regulatory compliance projects.
- GIT, EIT, or progress toward professional licensure preferred.
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a consulting environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and environmental reporting software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to perform field work as needed.
